Specifications
- USB 2 compliant (full-speed (12 Mbps)).
- AUTO direction for RS485 (hardware, baud rate independent).
- Interface Connector: DB-9, Male (default mode RS485).
- Optional USB 5 V available on external pin.
- Internal load termination (enabled on connector).
- Data format supported: 8, 7, 6 and 5-bit.
- Stop bits: 1, 1.5 and 2.
- Standard baud rates available: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 230400, 460800 and 921600.
- On board FIFO: 576 bytes receive and 640 bytes transmit available.
- USB powered.
- Default transmitter/receiver driver is 3.3 volt, however it is capable of functioning on 5 volt networks.
- Serial number specifies a unique ID number that allows multiple units to be used on the same platform, thus registering N comports on the same host.
- Can be used on a USB hub to extend the number of serial links on the host.
- Transmit and receive activity is shown on LED's.
- Receiver is optically isolated, hence quasi opto isolated. Connect Two units for total isolation.
- Protection on both transmit and receive channels.
- User configurable (422/485 mode) with link on connector.
- Pin definition on hardware label.
